  • Samples & Marketing Co-Ordinator , Food Ingredients Division, Crewe, United Kingdom

    The CRM team are responsible for ensuring that all customer contact actions are harmonised and add value to our commercial relationship and help drive our Growth Strategy. To retain our competitive advantage, it is important for us to consistently present the best first impression of our product and business to promote our brand integrity and values in the marketplace.
    To support this activity, we now have an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Samples & Marketing Co-ordinator. Reporting into the Concept to Launch Manager, you will co-ordinate all aspects of Sample collation, Production and despatch as well as support customer and product marketing activities.

    Key Responsibilities will include:
    Accurately process sample requests through Oracle to ensure on time in full production.Accurately process sample requests through Oracle to ensure on time in full production.
    Co-ordinate despatch of samples, keeping customers and National Account Managers informed.
    Liaise directly with customers and National Account Managers to gather feedback on samples.

    Circulate all DFI images and logos and maintain a DFI Image Library.
    Support DFI events calendar; set-up exhibitions, samples co-ordination and awards submissions.
    Co-ordinate DFI business stationery across the division.
    Update internal communications as required.

    Who are we looking for?
    You will have relevant experience in an administrative role, ideally from a busy sales and / or marketing environment. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and will have extensive experience of customer communication, both internal and external. You will also have good written language skills to ensure that all internal and external communication reflects the high standards of our brand.
    Accurate, with experience of inputting and reporting on data, you will be confident working with Excel to an intermediate level. You will have used systems for order processing and the ideal candidate would also have experience of Content Management Systems. Organised and proactive, you will take responsibility to ensure that key processes such as samples are efficiently co-ordinated for maximum customer satisfaction.

  • Marketing Executive, Retail Division, Mallow, Co. Cork

    The Society wishes to invite applications for the vacancy of Marketing Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to develop within a busy Marketing Department. The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing team to ensure the successful execution of campaigns in line with the marketing plan and budget in order to drive sales both instore and online.     The successful candidate will have:

    • A 3rd level marketing qualification

    Business Solutions Manager

    The Society wishes to invite applications for the vacancy of Business Solutions Manager. This role is based in Mitchelstown and reports directly to the Group IT Director.   • QA Manager, Food Ingredients Division, Swillington, Leeds, United Kingdom

    DFI UK is the number one cheese ingredient solutions supplier to the UK’s major food manufacturers, retailers and food service customers.  We’ve achieved strong, double digit growth over the last five years and we have ambitious plans for this to continue.

  • Milk Production Co-ordinator, Food Ingredients Division, Mallow, Co. Cork

    Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position of Milk Production Co-ordinator

    Based in Mallow, the Milk Production Co-ordinator will report to the Site Lead to achieve site targets and meet and exceed customer expectations. He/She will co-ordinate and control all the day-to-day activities required to ensure the targets associated with the efficient operations of the production processes are met. This person will be a core part of the Mallow management team, liaising directly with both internal and external stakeholders on all associated aspects of the business.

    Core responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

    • Production Planning, Recruitment & Organisation of key resources to meet production targets and maximise outputs:

  • QA Officer (x2), Dairygold Food Ingredients, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork

    The QA Officer is responsible for maintaining and managing defined core elements of the quality assurance program for the Castlefarm Milk Powders Production Facility, to ensure compliance with internal standards, food safety standards and customer requirements. The QA Officer is a key support role to the site QA Manager and is recognised as a key player within the site team. The key role of the Quality officer is to monitor compliance, report on metrics and improve the QMS system to meet the requirements of ISO 22000.

     

    These are the core responsibilities associated with your role for which you will be held accountable:

    1.Develop policies and procedures and risk assessments to meet the requirements of FSSC 22000, including HACCP and maintain in electronic format in paradigm system;

    2.Co-ordinate the site audit plan and report on the close out rate for non-conformances;

    3.Document sampling and testing plans for the site;

    4.In conjunction with site QA Manager – lead and facilitate customer and regulatory audits;

    5.Coach management and operational staff on new standards, accreditation requirements and procedures;

    6.Review data from environmental plan in relation to alignment of GMP and GMP policies as required.

    7.Review finished product composition and micro results daily. Report tons out of spec and cause at the VM meeting. Putting out of spec stock on hold.

    8.Positive release of stock to customers & transfer of finished product results to customers.

    9.Assisting with preparation and participation in Customer and third-party audits.

    10.Participate & lead CI projects and problem solving as required.

    11.Carry out Internal Audits and additional Audits as assigned by QA Manager.

    12.Review and develop policies, procedures and risk assessments to meet accreditation and customer requirement.

    13.Measure and report on metrics. Carry out routine sampling as required.

    The Society wishes to invite applications for the vacancy of Occupational Health Nurse. This role is based in Mitchelstown and reports directly to the Group Head of Human Resources. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of Occupational health services to Dairygold employees. This is a specialised professional role with a strong focus on promoting employee health and wellbeing.   • Project Engineer, Food Ingredients Division, Co.Cork, Ireland

    Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position of Project Engineer

    Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this newly created position will assume leading responsibility for driving high standard of efficiency across multiple projects using best practice project management techniques on capital investment and process improvement projects across Dairygold’s 4 key manufacturing sites, based in Mitchelstown, Mogeely and Mallow. The successful applicant will be required to work closely with the Site teams across the DFI business to deliver the identified targets. This person will be a core part of the engineering team, liaising directly with both internal and external parties on associated aspects of the business.

    Core responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

    • Deliver projects within budget, schedule & specification while adhering to site safety rules and the required standard.
    • Effective management of payback analysis, scheduling & cost control.
    • Support Line managers and cross functional teams to identify key areas for improvement within their area.
    • Define and develop detailed project scopes through stakeholder meetings;
    • Co-ordinate all project activities including estimating, design, specification, sourcing, purchasing, construction and commissioning activities;

    Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position of EHS Co-ordinator.

    Reporting to the Group EHS Manager the EHS Coordinator will be based in Castlefarm, Mitchelstown and will work closely with the operations team to drive a safe working culture for both employees and contractors across their areas of responsibility by promoting high standards and compliance with Safety and Environmental policies and procedures, maintaining site licences and legal requirements. He / She will be recognised as the key business driver for all health and safety issues across their areas of responsibility and will also play a key role in managing all environmental issues on site.

    Core responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

    • Serve as the primary focal point for EHS Matters for the Society and act as point of contact for regulatory authorities;
    • Organize, schedule and complete EHS audits and track issues / actions arising;
    • Management and tracking to closure of all regulatory compliance actions;

  • Purchasing Administrator (Job Share), Retail Division, Mallow , Co. Cork

    The Society wishes to invite applications for the vacancy of Purchasing Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a successful, customer-orientated organisation. This role is offered as part of a job share arrangement on a fixed-term basis of 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the feed, fertiliser and farm requisites categories and will report into the Farm Requisites Lead Buyer.

    Applicants for this position must:

    • Possess a relevant purchasing and/ or business administration qualification.
    • Be proficient in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of software including Oracle, CORE and other ERP systems are a distinct advantage.
    • Be proficient in using a business intelligence tool to interpret & analyse business performance data.
    • Have previous role-related competence & experience – knowledge of the product ranges in the respective categories is an advantage.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external bodies.

    Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Maintaining supplier purchasing catalogues and reviewing same on a monthly basis.
    • Maintaining supplier retail catalogues and reviewing same on a monthly basis.
    • Logging all price changes and updates approved by the Buyer.
    • Maintaining price lists for Area Sales Managers & Branches.
    • Handling product queries from Branch Managers.
    • Support in maintaining and updating product descriptions, prices etc. on the Retail web-site.
    • Monitoring and ensuring appropriate stock levels of core and seasonal stock.
    • Liaising with the Marketing Department on promotional products and prices.
    • Setting up promotions and providing support for promotional activity.
    • Identifying any obsolete products ­and liaising with the Lead Buyer to approve deletion.
    • Liaising with suppliers on behalf of the purchasing team.
    • Developing and maintaining supplier margin reports for the Lead Buyer.
    • Co-ordinating diaries with suppliers and other internal departments.
    • Administration duties including preparation of reports, presentations and business correspondences.
    • Ensuring that this role is carried out pro-actively with energy, commitment, professionalism & discretion.
