    We are seeking to hire a warehouse professional for the position of:

     

    WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

    Co-Op SuperStores, Millstreet DHD

    Full-Time 39 Hours Per Week

     

    Based in Millstreet, Co. Cork and reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this is a 12 month full- time contract, where the Warehouse Operative will work as part of a cohesive team to provide excellent customer service and effective and efficient product turn around.    The role involves the day to day operations of a busy Warehouse, dealing with stock orders / queries, dispatch and liaising with the Co-Op SuperStores and Stores branch network.

     

    Core responsibilities for this role include:

    • To prepare orders for re-distribution to branches.
    • Arrange delivery schedule of orders to branches with logistics company.
    • Prepare documentation for distribution of stock to branches.
    • Loading/ unloading of deliveries.
    • Ensure that all stock entering or leaving the Warehouse is thoroughly checked.
    • To restock the warehouse on a regular basis in order to ensure that all stock is available to the branches at all times, and to advise the Warehouse Supervisor regarding items out of stock.
    • Adherence to the stock control systems in place and using Dairygold IT and manual processes to ensure the efficient operation of the Warehouse
    • Participate in regular cycle counting and stock-taking.
    • Product coding, pricing and updating of prices on goods for re-sales.
    • Prompt dealings with all queries including telephone queries in an efficient and professional manner.
    • Ensuring maintenance of the warehouses, ensuring work station is free from hazards at all times.

     

    Candidates for this position should:

    • Be customer focused, with an awareness of modern warehouse, retail and customer service concepts
    • Be familiar with retail/warehousing operational systems including POs, GRNs, stock control etc.
    • Have in-depth knowledge of the relevant Dairygold or similar IT systems with regard to receipt of goods, branch transfers and stock control etc.
    • Previous experience in the warehousing, hardware, agri or retail trade is essential.

  • EHS Co-Ordinator, Food Ingredients Division, Mallow, Cork, Ireland

    Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position of EHS Co-Ordinator for our Mallow plant within the Dairy Food Ingredients Division.

     

    Reporting to the Group EHS Manager, this role will promote EHS Best practice within the Mallow plant in the DFI Division. Working closely with the Site team, the EHS Co-ordinator will drive a safe working culture for both employees and contractors and will be responsible for promoting high standards and compliance with both safety and environmental standards.

     

    Core responsibilities for this role include:

    • Provide advice and support and assist the site team in implementing current best practice across all aspects of Environmental, Health and Safety;
    • Develop and implement EH&S Policies and procedures;
    • Implement an approved audit programme on site and manage the closeout of all regulatory audit actions. Report on relevant KPIs;
    • Complete safety and environmental audits to ensure compliance;
    • Managing EH&S risk assessments and the implementation of appropriate controls;
    • Ensure all EH&S accidents, incidents and near misses are promptly reported and thoroughly investigated;
    • Oversee EHS training needs analysis and conduct training as required;
    • Liaise with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure changes to manufacturing process are implemented;
    • Promote and maintain Environmental best practice and implement appropriate controls as directed;
    • Monitor all relevant environmental license parameters as directed and take appropriate action to ensure compliance;

    Candidates for this position should possess:

    • Third level degree qualification in a relevant discipline is essential/minimum 2.1 qualification;

    Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited wishes to invite applications for the fixed term position of Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic and innovative Group Finance and Shared Services team in Dairygold’s Head Office, Mitchelstown. Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, this role will require the candidate to liaise with internal and external parties to ensure efficient processing of all invoices and payments.
    This role is based in Mitchelstown, Co Cork.

    The role will include but will not be limited to the following:

    • Process invoices for all Divisions and business units including Agri/DFI/Finance/Group/Watfore. Following Company Purchase to Pay process, policies and standard operating procedures to ensure that Supplier Invoices are processed through the system and are paid in line with company terms.

    • Handle store/factory queries.
    • Deal with all supplier and external party queries in relation to accounts payable in a professional and timely manner.
    • Sort and distribute post on a daily basis.

    Reporting the Site Asset Care Lead He/She will work closely with the site and group asset care teams to deliver best in class plant maintenance and improvements in line with the asset care strategy of the organisation. The electrician will have a key role to play in ensuring the site operates to the required electrical standards as set out by the HSA and our insurers.

    Core responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

    • Planning, risk assessing, executing and accurately handing over any electrical works on site and doing so through the Infor system;
    • Plant maintenance cover on a shift rota with call out. Shift rota may change throughout the year due to seasonality;
    • Responding to plant downtime and ensuring any contributory electrical, instrumental or automation issues are resolved as quickly as possible;

    Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shift Manager will work with the Production Managers and Site Management team to achieve Site targets and meet and exceed customer expectations.     Based primarily in Mitchelstown but with a requirement to travel to various Warehouse locations), and reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the DFI Warehouse Operations Manager will be a core member of the DFI Supply Chain team, liaising directly with both internal and external parties on related aspects of the business

    Reporting to the DFI HR Manager, the HR Officer (maternity cover) will promote HR best practice across the specific sites under your span of control within the DFI Division.     Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Effective communication and implementation of daily and weekly production schedules

    • Complete full weekly and monthly P&L reporting including gross margin analysis and all operational expenses for the Leeds site

    Key Responsibilities will include:

    • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
    • Ensure that equipment is fit for purpose on a shift / daily basis.  Attend breakdowns as necessary, to support continuous production.  Monitor and document line downtime and breakdowns
    • Complete a robust shift handover with the alternate shift engineer and ensure critical issues are raised to minimise disruption to operational performance
    • Assist & train production with machinery problems and setup and carry out repairs to machinery
    • Control activities of contractors on site, completing permits to work and relevant documentation
    • Ensure plant and equipment is operated and operating in the correct manner in line with H&S
    • Re-order spare parts and materials as necessary to ensure that stock levels are maintained
    • Work on capital projects as required and complete all engineering activities in line with plan

     

    Who are we looking for?

    You will need significant post apprenticeship experience, ideally gained in food manufacturing and supported by BTEC or C&G qualification in an appropriate discipline (Electrical Systems, Electrical Control, Faultfinding and Mechanical Engineering).

    Some experience of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques and approaches within an engineering environment would be ideal.
