Your Career Path
Graduates starting a career in Dairygold will be given an individual, tailored three-year career path plan, to build a solid foundation of skills and competencies for a long-term career in our business. The programme provides 2 to 3 rotations into different areas of the business, while remaining in your chosen function, where specific projects are assigned. The experience gained on these rotations provides the graduate with exposure to the broad range of activities within the business in a structured manner. The area of rotation will be linked to the graduate's academic discipline. Finance and Accounting graduates are offered a 3 year Graduate Programme with exposure across the Finance Function, leading to CIMA, ACCA or ACA professional certification which is fully funded by Dairygold. Areas of secondment during the 3 year graduate programme are illustrated below:

Having always been interested in working and living abroad, the Dairygold Graduate Program offered me an opportunity to realize my goals and allowed me to join a leading food ingredients business. The graduate programme was well designed and planned and contained lots of practical management techniques. Furthermore, it helped to give an overview of all aspects of the business, in particular, those outside my own area. I have been fortunate to work in Dairygold’s new Innovation Centre based in Mitchelstown and have been provided a fantastic opportunity to develop my own personal and management skills, necessary for future success in management in a commercial business environment.
